It has been more than two months since the central government agitated the farmers on the boundaries of Delhi on the new agricultural law. This movement has become so big that its resonance is heard at international level as well. American pop singer Rihanna extended her support to the protesting farmers on Delhi’s borders and condemned the internet shutdown to stop the movement. He shared a report related to the farmer movement on his Twitter handle. It mentions the shutdown of internet service due to farmers’ confrontation with the police. After Rihanna did this, former Indian cricketer Pragyan Ojha has given him a befitting reply.
Ojha, replying to his tweet, wrote, “My country is proud of our farmers and knows how important they are. I believe it will be resolved soon. We do not have to outsmart our outsiders in our internal affairs. In fact, 32-year-old Rihanna is the first international level star to support the peasant movement. Rihanna has more than 100 million followers on Twitter and her tweet is becoming quite viral. Before Pragyan Ojha, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has also replied to him on this tweet.
On Rihanna’s tweet, Kangana Ranaut replied that no one is talking because they are terrorists, not farmers. Those who want to divide India so that China will occupy our country and form a Chinese colony like USA. Sit calmly idiot. We are not fools like you who sell your country. Pragyan Ojha played 24 Tests, 18 ODIs and six T20 matches for India in international career in which he took 113, 21 and 10 wickets respectively. His last Test cricket was Sachin Tendulkar’s 200th and farewell Test. Ojha took a total of 10 wickets in this Test against the West Indies, including five wickets in both innings and was named Player of the Match.
