Four footballers of Brazilian football club Palamas, who were traveling separately from the team, were killed in a plane crash due to being found Corona virus positive. The plane crashed off the runway shortly before taking off in the northern province of Tokantis. The president and pilot of Palmas Club were also killed in this accident.
According to the club, these players were going to Goenia to play a match against Villa Nova. Club spokeswoman Izabella Martins told the Associated Press that the players were traveling by private plane as they were found to be Kovid-19 positive.
Martins said Sunday was the last day of his separation. The dead include club president Lucas Meera and players Lucas Praxdes, Gulerme no, Ranule and Marcus Molinari. The pilot was not identified. In this two-engine aircraft, only six passengers including the pilot could ride.
