Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) suffered a major setback before the start of the 14th season of the IPL. Another player of the team has become corona. Daniel Symes has been found to be Corona positive. Earlier, the team’s opener Devdutt Padikkal got infected with Corona virus, although now he has recovered. The franchise issued a statement saying, ‘RCB is in touch with Daniel Symes. The medical team is monitoring his health. The BCCI rule is being followed.
RCB further said that Daniel Symes checked in at a hotel in Chennai on 3 April. His corona report was negative. On April 7, the report of his second test has come back positive. However, he does not have symptoms of corona and is in isolation. Let me tell you that Daniel Symes was traded by Delhi Capitals (DC) for the IPL-14 by RCB. Symes is an Australia all-rounder. In the last IPL, Samms played 3 matches and did not get a single wicket. After that he looked in good form in the Australian domestic T20 tournament Big Bash League. Playing the Sydney Thunder, scored 200 runs in 10 matches at an average of 40.00, as well as taking 11 wickets from the economy of 8.51. Dannius Sams was the tournament’s most successful bowler in the 2019-20 season of the Big Bash League. He had taken the highest 30 wickets then. Chris Morris of Sydney Thunder finished second with 22 wickets.
Devdutt Padikkal is also infected with Corona

Before Daniel Symes, RCB opener Devadatta Padikkal was also infected with the Corona virus on 22 March. He is in his home in Quarantine. According to the statement issued from RCB, ‘Devdutt Padikkal was found positive on 22 March 2021 in the investigation of Kovid-19. Since then, he is a quarantine in his house in Bangalore. As per IPL protocol, he will be included in RCB’s bio-bubble if negative in RT-PCR test. On Wednesday, the franchisee said that Padikkal has now recovered from Kovid.
