Karnataka girl wins gold medal in National Track Cycling Championship


The National Track Cycling Championship was held at the SATS Velodrome of Osmania University on Saturday. In this event, Kirti Rangaswamy of Karnataka won the gold medal. Let us elaborate that Kirti finished the track in 12.07.278 seconds and won the gold medal in the junior women’s 6 km event on the opening day of the 72nd Senior, 49th Junior and 35th Sub-Junior National Track Cycling Championships.

For your information, let us know that Keerthy secured the first place, while Anamika Gogoi and N. Nikita of Andaman Nicobar secured the second and third place respectively. Earlier, the program was off to a colorful debut. Sports Minister V. Srinivas Goud gave the green signal to the event and said that he should host the event as it was the first national program for cycling after the formation of a new state.
