Sports desk. Team India’s star paceer Jasprit Bumrah can be rested from the upcoming 5-match ODI series against England. With this, those watching them playing on the field will have to wait longer. Team India has already been announced for the T20 series, in which Bumrah has been given rest. As of now, Team India has not been announced for the ODI series but Pacer Bumrah, who was removed from the fourth Test due to personal reasons, can also be rested in the ODI series.
Bumrah got a chance in the first match of the Test series between India and England but was rested from the second Test. After this, he did not get much opportunity to bowl in the third Test match as spinners Akshar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin wrote the script of the victory. Now, he has withdrawn from the fourth Test match to be held at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium from March 4 due to personal reasons.
According to a report by Cricbuzz, Bumrah will also not be seen in the three-match ODI series played in Pune from March 23. Like the T20 series, he can also be relaxed in ODIs. After the 4-match Test series between India and England, a five-match T20 International series will be played, after which the three-match ODI series will start from March 23. All five T20 matches will be played in Ahmedabad.
