New Delhi: KL Rahul’s tour of Australia was over due to a wrist injury. Although he played in the limited-overs series against Australia, he had to sit out the first two Tests and suffered an injury before the third Test. In such a situation, he was dropped from the Test series, but now on Tuesday he has confirmed that he is fully fit and will join the team for the next series.
KL Rahul is joining the team soon for the home series against England after undergoing a rehab process at the Bengaluru-based National Cricket Academy (NCA). KL Rahul has tweeted that, “Glad I have completed my rehab. There is no better feeling than staying fit and healthy. The fun of coming back with the players is different and representing the country waiting for the home series There is respect in doing. ”
KL Rahul, who scored two half-centuries in the limited overs series in Australia, will join Team India for the first two Tests against England starting on 5 February in Chennai. In January, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) reported that the selection committee has selected KL Rahul for the home series. KL Rahul has not played a single Test in a long time.
