Chennai: Members of Team India and England cricket team have come negative in three Kovid-19 tests during the separation. After which the players of both teams will start their training session for the Test series. After the test report of Kovid-19 is negative, both teams will start practice for the first test from today. The Indian players, who won the Test series on the tour of Australia, spent time in their homes and then joined groups in a biologically safe environment from Wednesday last week.
According to the update of BCCI, ‘Indian cricket team completed their segregation in Chennai today. Three RT-PCR tests were conducted at regular intervals for Kovid-19 and all the results have been negative. The team will have its first outdoor session from 5pm today and the net session will start tomorrow ‘ According to a spokesperson for the England and Wales Cricket Board, “All the results of yesterday’s PCR test have come negative. The England team is now out of isolation and will practice as a full group at the stadium tomorrow from 2 to 5 pm Indian time.
However, the series of four Tests against the team led by Virat Kohli will be a big challenge for the England team. The Test series will begin from 5 February. England was the last rival team to win the Test series in India. The Indian team is full of confidence by winning the Test series on Australia’s land twice in the last three years. India beat Australia 2–1 in the Test series last month.
