Bangalore to focus on a player like Maxwell in IPL auction: Gambhir

Former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir believes that Royal Challengers Bangalore should field a player like Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell in the auction to be held on Thursday to ease the pressure on Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers in the batting department. Maxwell, known for his explosive batting in T20 cricket, is one of the 292 players who have been included in the IPL auction. De Villiers will have to reduce the pressure. Former fast bowler Ashish Nehra believes Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan may be the biggest bidder in the auction, while another former Indian player Akash Chopra feels Maxwell will sell at the highest price.
