Toll tax will not have to be paid if you are stuck in a jam on national highways

New Delhi. If the new scheme is implemented, then you will not have to pay toll on national highways if there is a jam. A different color line will be made on every lane of the toll plaza. If there was a jam and the queue of trains touched this line, the toll operator would have to open the gate of that lane. Then all the trains from that lane can be paid without paying toll. According to sources, a plan is being prepared in this regard. The transport ministry was constantly receiving reports that despite the increased use of fastag to pay toll charges, it is jammed. After this the ministry started real time monitoring of all toll plazas and queues there. Strict monitoring is being done at the top level. Ever since the government has promised uninterrupted travel after making use of Fastag to pay tolls, we have been instructed that passengers should not face any difficulty in passing the toll plaza.

Excuse of jam will not work now

For the last few days, an army of officers is supervising and analyzing traffic management on toll plazas. They range from Regional Officers to General Managers and Chief Managers. One of them said, “Fastag transactions have increased from 60-70% to 90%, even in remote areas. So now we can give some excuse for jam on toll plaza Can not be saved. ”

How to buy FASTag online?

According to officials, where the line will be made, the distance will be different for each plaza. For this, traffic flow and number of lanes of that plaza will be taken into consideration. Meanwhile, some travelers have complained that they are not getting a discount on the return journey within 24 hours. In such a situation, they have to pay full toll for both sides.
