New Delhi : Farmers, who have been agitating against agricultural laws for months, are organizing a rail roko movement in many states of the country on Thursday under the leadership of farmer organizations. Between 12 noon and 4 pm today, in many states, especially in Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, in many districts, farmers will agitate on the railway tracks and stop trains. For security, police personnel have been deployed at sensitive stations. At the same time, additional personnel of the Railway Police Force have been deployed. The state police is also on alert. Security has been tightened at Hapur Junction, Garhmukteshwar, Dhaulana and Pilkhuwa railway stations. Four magistrates have also been prepared for these four railway stations.
Today, rail services will be affected in many states. Due to the rail roko movement, some sensitive railway routes have been identified.

Information about the regulation or changing of trains has been given by the Railways.
At present, the time or regulation station of the trains has been updated by the railway, there is no information about the cancellation of any train yet. The Indian Farmers Union has appealed that no violence or trouble of any kind will be allowed to the passengers. . Organization spokesman Rakesh Tikait said that the agitators will take full care that the passengers do not face any problem. He also said that ‘we will give water, milk, lassi and fruits etc. to the people and tell them what is our problem.’ The sources are aware that the Ministry of Home Affairs is also keeping an eye on the rail roko movement. On Wednesday, a meeting was held with the Railway Board, in which information was prepared. Preparations for this movement are visible after taking lessons after the violence in the tractor rally held under the farmers’ movement on Republic Day.
