Wayanad: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi participated in a tractor rally against agricultural laws in his constituency Wayanad, Kerala. During this, he was seen driving a tractor himself. Earlier, Rahul Gandhi lashed out at the Modi government. He said that PM Narendra Modi had made fun of MNREGA in Parliament and the government had to increase the budget of this MNREGA during the lockout.
Rahul has termed MGNREGA as the biggest reason for development in the UPA government. Rahul Gandhi said that this brought money in the pockets of the people of the village. Taking a dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Rahul said that the idea of the saffron party empowers the powerful, while the Congress is thinking of empowering the weak. During his visit to Wayanad, Congress leader Kozhikode met the survivors of the plane crash.

With this, Rahul Gandhi started a bus service at Shishu Jesus School in Wayanad. Apart from this, he also unveiled the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at St. Joseph’s School.
