New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated several important projects in Dhemaji, Assam and laid the foundation stone of many projects. PM gave Assam a new gift of energy and education infrastructure projects worth more than three thousand crore rupees. Addressing a public meeting, PM Modi said that despite the immense potential in the North East, earlier governments treated the region step-motherly. Here connectivity, hospitals, educational institutions, industries were not in the priority of the earlier government. He said that our government is working on the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.
PM Modi accused the former governments of ignoring Assam and the northeastern states. He said that those who ruled the country for decades, considered Dispur away from Delhi. Assam has suffered a lot due to this thinking, but now Delhi is not far away, Delhi is standing at your doorstep. The PM said that our government is working on the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas. PM said, the youth of Assam have amazing potential. The state government is working hard to increase this capacity. Due to the efforts of the Government of Assam, today there are more than 20 engineering colleges. The Assam government is trying to implement the new national education policy here as soon as possible. The benefits of this new education policy are going to be highest for Assam, the tribal society here, the laboring siblings working in the tea garden.
The Prime Minister said that if the policy is right, if the intention is clear, the destiny also changes. Today, the gas pipeline network being set up in the country, optical fiber is being laid to every village in the country, pipes are being installed to deliver water to every house, they are the new fate lines of Mother India. All these projects will make life easier in Assam and North East and will also increase employment opportunities for the youth. When a person gets his basic facilities, his confidence also increases. Growing this confidence also develops the region and the country as well. As part of the tour, the Prime Minister inaugurated and inaugurated the engineering colleges. Subsequently, a unit of Indian Oil’s Bongaigaon Refinery, Secondary Tank Farm of Oil India Limited at Madhuban in Dibrugarh and a Gas Compressor Station at Hebra Village in Tinsukia were dedicated to the nation. He inaugurated Dhemaji Engineering College and laid the foundation stone of Sualkuchi Engineering College.
