Along with this, instructions have also been given to submit the report to the Commission within 3 days after the investigation. The preliminary voter list has been released for the upcoming municipal elections.
The BJP had complained to the Election Commission about this. This complaint was made by the Congress and it was said that under the pressure of the BJP, the names of Congress supporters have been cut and removed from the voter list. After all, the State Election Commission has appointed retired IAS Ajay Sharma as observer for the Municipal Corporation Election List.
There are reports that the report will be submitted to the State Election Commission after three days of intense scrutiny and supervision from February 18 to February 20. There was a possibility of disturbances in the voter list by the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee. Due to this, there were many complaints in the State Election Commission that the worker, who is created by the corporation, is going to field a candidate for the post of corporator. In this case, senior Congress leaders also submitted a memorandum to the Commission.
