Kolkata: Recently Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty, who joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has recently given a statement. Indeed, he says, “Massive voting in the first phase of elections to be held in the eight phases of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly indicates that change is imminent here”. Mithun Da held a road show in Bankura and during this time he said, “It is clear from the first phase of voting that ‘change’ is imminent.” Along with this, he also appealed to the people to continue supporting the BJP.

Actually, ever since he joined BJP, it is in discussion. However, he started campaigning for the BJP from Saltaura in Bankura on Thursday.
