India’s first digital university started in Kerala, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said this

Kerala started the country’s first digital university, taking a major step towards progress in the educational sector. The university was inaugurated at the Technocity at Mangalapuram near Thiruvananthapuram. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan presided over the function.

The university plaque was unveiled by Governor Arif Mohammad Khan who is also the Chancellor of Kerala Digital Science, Innovation and Technology University (KUDSIT). The Chief Minister and the Governor addressed the function through video conference.

During the inaugural address, Khan said that the inception of the digital university is part of the state’s resolve to promote new technology and use it for positive changes in people’s lives.



Praising the recent initiative taken by the state government in the field of higher education, including the introduction of Sri Narayana Guru Open University, the Governor said that knowledge brings courage, better understanding, acceptance and unity in every aspect of life and also brings us to ignorance Relieves clutches.
