India’s corona vaccination crosses 6 crore mark

New Delhi: Over 6.24 crore anti-corona vaccine supplements have been administered in the country. On Tuesday, 12,94,979 doses were applied. The Union Health Ministry has given this information. According to the provisional report of the Union Health Ministry, 6 crore 24 lakh 8 thousand 333 doses of corona vaccine have been given till 7 pm on Tuesday evening.

According to the report, 82 lakh 07 health workers have been given the first dose of vaccine, while 52 lakh 7 thousand 368 health workers have been given the second dose of vaccine. Similarly, the first dose of the vaccine is given to 90,08,905 personnel on the frontline, while the second dose of 37,70,603 personnel on the frontline is given the vaccine. 2,90,20,989 people over the age of 60 have been given the first dose of the anti-corona vaccine. 36,899 people in this age group have been given the second dose of the vaccine.

The ministry has reported that 81,85,65 people aged 75–60 years with severe illnesses have been given the first vaccine dose and 959 people in this category have been given the second dose of the vaccine. The ministry said that till Tuesday evening, 12,94,979 vaccine doses have been given. It is the 74th day of the commencement of the nationwide vaccination campaign, which began on 16 January. According to the provisional report till 7 pm, 11,77,160 of these beneficiaries have been given the first dose of vaccine, while 1,17,819 have been given the second dose of vaccine.
