Patna: Earthquake tremors have been felt in Bihar’s capital Patna. The tremors were felt at 9.23 pm. People came out of the houses after feeling shivering. According to the information received, former Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav has also tweeted that he has felt tremors. Tejashwi Yadav tweeted, “Earthquake tremors have been felt in Patna. I hope everyone will be safe and take care of themselves. Focus on safety and move to a safer place if needed.”
It is learned that the earthquake intensity is 3.5 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was 5 kilometers below ground. The epicenter of the earthquake was 20 km northwest of Nalanda.
According to the information received, even at 10.30 pm on 12 February, vigorous tremors were felt in many states of North India. The earthquake was observed in Delhi NCR at 10:31 pm in Punjab, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan. The epicenter of the earthquake was the city of Tajikistan. The magnitude of this earthquake was estimated to be 6.3 on the Richter scale.
