Earthquake in Bengal 2 times in 12 hours, fear spread among people

Last 12 hours ago, earthquake tremors have been felt in many areas of North Bengal including Bihar, Darjeeling since Monday night. The Richter-scale earthquake was estimated to be 5.4. The epicenter of the earthquake was on the Sikkim-Bhutan border. A 5.4 magnitude earthquake struck Sikkim with tremors in Assam, West Bengal and Bihar. The news of the earthquake has been heard at 8.49 pm.

After which it is now reported that there was an earthquake on the land of Bengal once again. After the earthquake, PM Modi interacted with the CMs of several states. PM Modi interacted with CMs of Bihar, Assam and Sikkim. It is learned that people have left their homes in panic. Earthquake tremors have been felt in Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar and Darjeeling in North Bengal. The effect of which was also felt in some parts of Sikkim. Voting is going on in 475 seats in 5 states including West Bengal.
