New Delhi : Environmental activist Disha Ravi, arrested in Toolkit case, got bail from Patiala House Court. He has got bail on a personal bond of one lakh. Disha’s police had sought a 4-day police remand. Earlier, on Monday, the Patiala House Court had ordered Disha Ravi to be sent to police custody for another day. Delhi Police had asked for a 5-day police custody.
Disha Ravi was presented in the Patiala House Court on Monday. The Special Cell of Delhi Police told the court that Shantanu and Nikita Jacob are the two accused in this case. Shantanu has been given a transit bell of 10 days by the court there. At the same time, Nikita Jacob has got transit bell from the High Court. Disha Ravi has placed all the allegations against him on Shantanu and Nikita. Therefore, in front of Delhi Police, there is no option but to make all the accused face to face and inquire.
On 14 February, 21-year-old climate activist Disha Ravi was arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police in the Toolkit case. The 21-year-old activist is one of the founders of the Friday for Future campaign. Let us know that on 4 February, Delhi Police had registered a case regarding the toolkit. It is alleged that Disha Ravi edited the toolkit associated with Kisanome and added some items to it and sent it ahead. Disha is a student of Mount Carmel, incorporated in the prestigious Women’s College of Bangalore.
