Despite the softening of crude oil in the international market, the trend of rising fuel prices at the domestic level continued for the 12th consecutive day. Presently, the prices of petrol and diesel are at an all-time high in almost all cities. In some cities, petrol has even crossed the Rs 100 level.
On Saturday, activists of the Indian Youth Congress (IYC) protested outside the petroleum ministry in Delhi against uncontrolled prices of petrol-diesel and cooking gas. During this time, where the women workers prepared food on the traditional stove and the men performed semi-ignorantly. Meanwhile, dozens of Youth Congress workers were detained by the police.
The Congress alleged that by increasing inflation in every way, the BJP government has broken the back of the people of the country. The public has been forced to hit the road against the historic increase in prices of petrol-diesel and domestic LPG.

It is noteworthy that in the national capital Delhi on Friday, the price of petrol crossed Rs 90 per liter, while the price of diesel increased to Rs 80.60 per liter.
Public sector oil companies raised petrol and diesel prices for the 11th consecutive day. According to the notification released on Friday, the price of petrol increased by 31 paise per liter and diesel by 33 paise per liter.
