Chandauli’s martyr Dharamdev returned to duty 10 days before Holi, asking parents and wife to come home again soon


Lal Dharmadev Kumar of Chandauli of UP was killed in the Naxalite attack in Bijapur of Chhattisgarh. Late Sunday evening, the family members of Dharamdev received information about the martyrdom, and there was a mourning in the village Shahabganj. People began to gather at Dharamdev’s home village. After the information, the officers of the district also reached his home and met the family members. Dharmadev was posted as a commando in the Special Group Cobra Battalion of CRPF. He was selected in the CRPF in 2013. Dharmadev’s father Ramashray Gupta told that from childhood, Dharmadev used to talk about going into the force to serve the country.

Ramashray Gupta told that in the month of March, he had come to the village after taking leave. 10 days before Holi, Dharmadev returned on duty after spending a holiday. He promised to return soon while on duty. But now news of his martyrdom has come.

After the news of the martyrdom of the son and husband, Dharmadev’s mother Krishnavati and wife Meena have a bad condition crying out. Apart from Jyoti and Sakshi, a Naxalite attack in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, the father’s shadow was also taken away from the head of the child who was born in Meena’s womb. Dharamdev’s younger brother Dhananjay is also a CRPF jawan. Along with Dharmadev, he was also selected in CRPF. Currently Dhananjay is also posted in Chhattisgarh.
