BMC tightens to prevent infection, fines so many crores

Mumbai: In view of increasing cases of corona virus infection in Maharashtra, BMC is working in action mode. The agency has given notice to 32 hotels, pubs, restaurants and marriage halls and lawns in Andheri West and sought answers. The BMC has issued strict instructions from all owners to follow the corona lines and avoid overcrowding. At the same time, BMC has also sealed about 1305 buildings. In all these buildings 2749 Kovid-19 cases have been found, a total of 71,838 people live here. Let me tell you that precautionary steps are being taken in many districts of the state. It is noteworthy that 6,112 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours in Maharashtra.

The Metropolitan Municipality has warned all these owners to seal their establishment in violation of the rules. Actually, the Corona Protocol is being violated in Mumbai and adjoining areas. Despite the growing case of Corona in Kalyan Dombivali near Mumbai and warnings from the metropolitan, people are lax in wearing masks.


Nearly 32 crores fined yet not learned

So far, 31 crore 79 lakh 43 thousand 400 rupees fine has been collected from those traveling without masks in Mumbai. Such fine was levied from March 2020 to 19 February 2021. The amount was recovered from 15 lakh 71 thousand 679 people. At the same time, as far as recovery of one day is concerned, on February 19 alone, 13,592 to 27 lakh 18 thousand rupees was spent as fine without going around in public places.
