New Delhi. After 11,610 new cases of Kovid-19 in India, infection cases in the country increased to 1,09,37,320, out of which 1,06,44,858 people have become infection free. According to the updated data released by the Union Health Ministry at eight o’clock on Wednesday morning, the death toll rose to 1,55,913 after the deaths of 100 more people from the virus. According to the data, with 1,06,44,858 people becoming infection free, the recovery rate of patients in the country has gone up to 97.33 percent. The death rate from Kovid-19 is 1.43 percent. 1,36,549 people are currently undergoing treatment for corona virus infection in the country. This figure is 1.25 percent of the total cases.
On August 7 last year, the number of infected people in the country was 20 lakh, on 23 August 30 million and on 5 September more than 40 lakh. At the same time, total cases of infection had crossed 50 lakh on 16 September, 60 lakh on 28 September, 70 lakh on 11 October, 80 lakh on 29 October and 90 lakh on 20 November and one crore on 19 December. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 20,79,77,229 samples have been tested for Kovid-19 in the country so far. Of these, 6,44,931 samples were tested on Tuesday.
