Ingredients to make gourd cheela
Two tablespoons semolina
Half cup gram flour
salt to taste
Three green chilies
Two teaspoons celery
Half a teaspoon garam masala
½ teaspoon red chilli powder
First of all, grind the gourd well. Then drain the water coming out of this gourd well and separate it. Now mix the quantity of semolina and gram flour in it. Then add green chillies, semolina, salt, garam masala, red chillies, celery, coriander leaves and gram flour to the gourd. Mix everything well.
After this, prepare the batter by adding water. While making the batter, keep in mind that it is neither too thin nor too thick. Because in both the situations there will be trouble in making cheela and there will be difference in taste also.
After making the batter, heat the oil in a non-stick pan. Put a spoon batter in it and spread it. Bake it until it becomes light brown. After this, sprinkle some oil over the cheela. Flip to the other side and bake well.
After sinking both sides, take it out and repeat the same process by adding a batter to the other cheela. You can serve it with sauce or chutney.
