PM Modi takes first dose of Corona vaccine, gets vaccinated in Delhi AIIMS


New Delhi: The second phase of vaccination campaign against Corona virus has started from today. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took the first dose of the vaccine. PM Modi reached Delhi AIIMS in the morning and took the first dose of vaccine, as well as he has appealed to the countrymen to get the vaccine. He tweeted that ‘I took the first dose of Corona vaccine in AIIMS, it is worth praising how our doctors and scientists worked fast to strengthen the global fight against Corona. He said that I appeal to all who are eligible to get the vaccine, they came together to make India Corona free.

Let us tell you that the second phase of the Kovid-19 vaccination campaign has started from today for people over 60 years of age and 45 years or more for people suffering from other diseases. Registration on the Co-Win 2.0 portal will begin at 9 am on Monday. Citizens can register and book for vaccination anytime and anywhere using the Co-Win 2.0 portal or through other IT applications like Arogya Setu.

How will registration happen?
Registration for vaccination has to be done in advance on the CoWin portal. According to the time slot, the beneficiaries will reach the vaccine. Registration will be done on the Cowin portal from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm today, while registration will be done from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm from March 2 onwards. People between 45 and 59 years of age will bring 20 types of chronic critical illness after getting it certified by registered medical practitioner only then they will get vaccinated. Currently, the facility of on-site registration has not been provided in Delhi.
