New Delhi: There is both outrage and mourning throughout the country since the Naxalite attack in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. The martyrdom of 23 soldiers shook everyone in the attack. Meanwhile, a video is going viral on social media, in which a five-year-old girl is seen pleading with Naxalites. In fact, the family of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) commander Rakeshwar Singh Minhas is in deep shock after hearing the news of Naxalite attack in Chhattisgarh. It is being told that Naxals kidnapped Minhas during the attack.
In the viral video, Minhas’ five-year-old daughter Shraghvi is seen pleading to leave her father. Let me tell you that 23 security personnel have been martyred in the attack on CRPF battalion and the Naxalites have claimed that they have kidnapped Minhas. When the media team reached Minhas’s house in Barna area of Jammu-Akhnoor road, the atmosphere there was extremely inauspicious. Minhas’s wife Meenu said that we got information about the attack from the news channel and came to know that my husband is missing. None of the government and CRPF told us about this.
#Bijapur #NaxalAttack I became emotional after hearing the voice of the daughter of the hostage jawan.
We can only imagine the pain of family…
Every effort is being made to secure their return. Your father is a brave warrior, daughter. You should also exercise patience and courage like them … pic.twitter.com/8dwTw5xkj3– Dipanshu Kabra (@ipskabra) April 5, 2021
Meenu is waiting for her husband, with a daughter in his lap. Meenu told that an officer came to her house. He left with assurance. He said that his last conversation with Minhas was at 9:30 pm on Friday when he was going for duty. Meenu said with moist eyes that her husband served the country for 10 years and now it is the government’s turn to bring her back safely.
