New Delhi: The daily cases of corona are increasing day by day across the country. New cases of infection have caused a weep and cry everywhere. More than 1.25 lakh cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, breaking all infection records. According to the Union Health Ministry, 1,26,789 new cases of coronovirus have been registered and 684 people have lost their lives across the country in the last 24 hours.
This is the third time in the last four days that the corona cases in the country have crossed one lakh. Corona 1.15 million cases were first reported on Tuesday. The situation in Maharashtra is much more serious than in other states. Here 59,907 cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. In view of these rising cases of corona, state governments are taking steps like lockout and night curfew.
In Chhattisgarh, the Baghel government has announced a complete lockout in Raipur between 9 April and 19 April. Meanwhile, a night curfew has been imposed in several districts of Uttar Pradesh after Maharashtra, Delhi and Punjab. Immunization is also continuing in the country amidst these increasing cases of coronaviruses. Till now, 8.83 crore vaccine doses have been given across the country.
