Congress leader Nagma gets infected despite taking vaccine


Mumbai: Congress leader and actress Nagma on Wednesday said that her infection has been confirmed in the COVID-19 investigation and at present she is living separately in the house. The actress (50) wrote on Twitter that on April 2, after receiving her first dose of Kovid-19 vaccine, she succumbed to infection. Actress and Congress leader Nagma asked her fans to be cautious despite getting vaccinated. The actress wrote, “A few days ago I took my first dose of vaccine. The test report of Kovid-19 has turned positive, so I have isolated myself at home. All please take care and take necessary precautions.”

Nagma, who made her big screen debut with the Salman Khan-starrer film “Baagi” in 1990, is known for her performances in films such as Shahrukh Khan’s “King Uncle”, “Suhaag” and “Baasha”. He has also acted in Telugu, Tamil, Bhojpuri, Malayalam and Kannada films.

On Wednesday, 10,428 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Mumbai and 23 patients died. On the other hand, Maharashtra recorded the highest 59,907 cases of corona infection on Wednesday. With this, the total cases increased to 31,73,261. An official of the Health Department gave this information. He said that 322 more patients died from Kovid-19 in the last one day, due to which the number of dead reached 56,652.
