‘All people above 18 years should get corona vaccine …’, IMA’s letter to PM Modi

In a letter to PM Modi, the IMA has appealed that people over 18 years of age should now be included in vaccination to promote immunization campaigns in the country so that coronaviruses can be curbed. More than 4.3 million people have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours in the country, the highest ever in terms of doses given in a day. According to the ministry’s data till 7 am, a total of 43,00,966 vaccine doses were given in the last 24 hours, of which 39,00,505 heirs were given the first dose of vaccine, while 4,00,461 heirs were given the second vaccine. So far, 60 percent of the total vaccines have been administered in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Kerala. The data shows that out of the total 8,31,10,926 vaccines administered in the country, Maharashtra has the highest 81,27,248 doses. This was followed by 76,89,507 people in Gujarat, 72,99,305 in Rajasthan, 71,98,372 in Uttar Pradesh and 65,41,370 in West Bengal.
