An FIR has been lodged in Kanpur in UP regarding a news report on three journalists. A case has been registered against the journalists for making disturbances and threatening them. It was alleged in the news that while officials were busy in a program, the children of the government school who were part of the program were chilling in the cold. A case has been registered against the journalist who worked for a local news channel, who worked for a local news channel, in UP’s Kanpur countryside, 170 km from the capital Lucknow. In the complaint, the District Education Officer has said that the news that the journalist showed was not on the venue that day and he incorrectly reported the program related to yoga. Significantly, a yoga program was offered by the children on the day of UP.
It can be seen in the program’s video that the district officials, ministers and some local MLAs are present in the program. In the program, children are seen practicing yoga in summer uniforms. Where the children were seen in summer uniform, the guests who came to the program were wearing winter clothes. However, the government official said that the children wore these uniforms only for doing yoga. Before that he was wearing winter clothes only.
The official said that children in winter uniforms could not practice yoga. However, later, after yoga, the children wore warm clothes. A student who took part in the program said that he was told by the teacher to take off hot clothes for yoga. The child said that he was wearing a jacket and pajamas at the venue. The District Officer of Kanpur Dehat said, “I am very sad to see that even those who were not in the program published the news that the children are chilling. You know that yoga cannot be done by wearing a sweater or jacket. We are getting to know about the people who published the news.
