According to Mid Day, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra has confirmed to make a sequel to PK, but this time the lead actor might be Ranbir Kapoor. He said, “We will make a sequel. We showed at the end of the film that if Ranbir Kapoor comes to earth, then we have a story, but Abhijeet Joshi (the writer of the film) has not written t he story yet. The day he writes the story, we will make it.

Vidhu further said, “We are not in the business of making money, we are in the business of making cinema. If earning money was our goal, by now we would have made 6 to 7 sequels of Munna Bhai and 2-3 parts of PK. We place happiness, peace and enthusiasm over crores. ”
