Lucknow: Fog is getting relief in North India. Winter is now ready to say goodbye to several states including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan and Haryana. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the cold in the plains is gradually decreasing. The weather is pleasant in Delhi and NCR. It is mild cold in the morning and evening. The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain and snowfall in parts of the Western Himalayas during the coming 24 hours.

Light rains are likely in some areas of Uttar Pradesh in the next 2-3 days. Snowfall can still continue in the mountains. Heavy snowfall in Chakrata, Uttarakhand has led to white sheets of snow all around in the high altitude areas.
