The new release of Tom Holland’s upcoming film ‘Uncharged’ has been announced. Sony’s film adaptation of the popular video game series has been postponed once again. This time, the film is being pushed back from one week to 18 February, with the film set for 11 February next week.
According to Variety, the film’s release date has been delayed several times. Earlier release dates included March 5, 2021, October 8, 2021, and July 16, 2021. However, the revolving door knight of directors, along with the likes of David O Russell, Neil Berger, Seth Gordon, Sean Levy, Dan Trachtenberg and Travis, forced the producers to push the release date forward. The outbreak of COVID-19 and the resulting lockdown caused this confusion. Talking about the film, Reuben Fletcher is helming the film, which follows the adventures of young treasure hunter Nathan Drake (Holland). The film is based on the popular PlayStation video game franchise. In addition to Holland, Mark Wahlberg is the patron of Sully, a fellow treasure hunter, and Nathan Drake, and Sophia Ali plays Chloe Frazer, yet another fortune hunter and Drake’s love interest. Antonio Bandares and Tati Gabriel round out the cast.
The cast also includes Charles Rowan, Avi Arad, Alex Gartner and Ari Arad, and executive producers include Robert J. Dohrmann, Fletcher, David Bernad, Neil Druckman, Evan Wells, Assad Qazilbush, Carter Swan, Markum, Halloway and others. Holland
