The foundation stone of Ayodhya’s Dhannipur mosque has been laid on 26 January. But the statement of the political leaders regarding the mosque is not taking the name of pause. Now Asaduddin Owaisi, Chief of All India Majlis Itehadul Muslimeen has made a big statement and attacked the trustees.
While heading a program in Bidar, Karnataka, Owaisi said, “The mosque to be built in Dhanipur is against Islam. It cannot be called a mosque. In that sense, giving donations for its worship and reading Namaz there is both forbidden. .
However, Athar Hussain, the secretary of the trust, says that wherever prayers are offered to Allah, the place cannot be forbidden. He further said that he did not feel the pain of the first battle of independence in 1857 in the area from which Owaisi comes. It may also be that Owaisi’s Aba-o-Azdad (ancestor) did not take part in that rebellion against the British government.
