Farmers’ organizations have announced to block the country on 6 February. However, Delhi, UP and Uttarakhand have been kept separate from this flywheel jam. Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait has given the reason for not stopping the traffic jam at these places. They say that there was a possibility of violence in these places, hence there is no jam in UP and Uttarakhand. Rakesh Tikait said, ‘Our pus was strong evidence that some people would have tried to spread violence during Chakka jam yesterday. We had a confirmed report. In view of public interest, we have kept Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh separate from the chakka jam tomorrow.
Farmers’ organizations had made it clear on Thursday that there will be no traffic jam in Delhi. Today, Rakesh Tikait said that Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand will not be jammed on February 6 (tomorrow), as they can be called to Delhi anytime, so these states have been put on standby. During this time, vehicles will not be allowed to run on the highway between 12 noon and 3 pm. Farmers’ organizations say that food and drink arrangements will also be made for those trapped in the jam. Places around the Delhi border are being completely blocked. The electricity, water supply and internet service in and around the pickets have been closed. In view of this, the wheel is being jammed.
