On Thursday, in the second part of the state assembly session, the Chief Minister was giving his speech in support of the state’s own bill, ignoring the implementation of the agricultural laws of the central government in the state. After his speech, when the proposal to pass the bill was tabled in the House, nine BJP MLAs opposed the bill and started raising slogans of Jai Shri Ram in front of the Chief Minister.
Among them, MLA, Dulal Bar and Sudeep Mukherjee were at the forefront, who had recently left TMC and joined the saffron party.
Earlier, the Chief Minister took a dig that when Hindus convert and become Muslims and then eat more beef. On this, the BJP MLAs objected strongly to the CM, objecting.
However, later the Chief Minister himself withdrew his statement. BJP MLAs said that the state bills against the Center are completely unconstitutional and illegal.
A BJP MLA said that the Central Government approved three agricultural laws to benefit the farmers and double their income, but the Assembly is stopping it.
At the same time, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee demanded immediate resignation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah and said that both should resign immediately.
We are opposing the agricultural laws of the central government, because they are against the farmers.
