Maharashtra: Recently Maharashtra government has extended the lockout in the state till 28 February. An order has been issued stating that activities which have been previously permitted will continue. All previous orders have been asked to align with this order. According to the news, the lockout in the state will now run till 28 February.
Earlier, Maharashtra government had extended the restrictions till 31 January 2021 in the state in view of coronavirus infection. A circular in this regard was issued on 29 December 2020. The circular stated, “There is a danger of the spread of coronavirus in the state, due to which some emergency steps are being taken to prevent its spread and lockdown ban.” Extended to the state till 31 January ‘.
It also said that activities which have been allowed from time to time will continue. In the last few months, the government has relaxed the lockdown restrictions a lot. The Maharashtra government had allowed the reopening of places of worship in November and classes from 9th to 12th were started in some parts of the state.
