In December last year, the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate ordered the Juhu police to investigate the defamation case filed on behalf of Javed Akhtar.
On Monday, the police submitted its report to the court. In it, the police said that fur ther investigation needs to be done on the complaint filed against Kangana by Javed Akhtar. Magistrate R.R. Khan’s court has issued notice to Kangana Ranaut. Lyricist Javed Akhtar in his complaint has accused Kangana Ranaut of making baseless comments on him and calling him a courtier. Javed Akhtar has said that Kangana Ranaut’s comments have weakened his reputation after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.
