Aligarh: A property dealer has been shot dead near Keshopur Joffre in Lodha area of Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh. There has been a stir in the area after the news of this incident happened last night. The injured have been identified as Golu Rana. It is being told that Golu Panchayat was preparing to contest elections. He was shot when he went to see land in Keshopur. All the crooks escaped from the spot after executing the incident. Police is currently investigating the case.
Property dealer Golu Rana, a resident of Bharatpur village in Lodha region, is preparing to contest for the post of district panchayat member. Late in the evening, after a friend’s call, Golu Rana went to see land in Keshopur Joffre village. After seeing the ground, Golu was returning home from his car late at night. As soon as the railway line came under the bridge, Golu was shot in the moving car by unknown assailants. In the firing of miscreants, the bullet hit his shoulder. When the injured Golu opened the car gate, he fell to the ground.
People passing by the spot heard the sound of firing. The injured Golu was admitted to the district hospital, where doctors, seeing the condition serious, referred him to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh. Police is currently investigating the case. The police claimed that the accused would be arrested soon.
