Cannes (France): The Cannes Film Festival 2021 has been postponed and will now be held in July.
The organizers of the festival said in a brief statement that the festival has been postponed for two months due to the corona virus epidemic.
A statement issued by Cannes said, “As announced, the organizers have the right to set the date for the Cannes Festival in view of the change in global health situation.”
The statement said, ‘Earlier it was to be held from May 11 to May 22, 2021 but now it will be held from July 6 to July 17, 2021.’
The festival was canceled last year due to the epidemic and a simple program was held in October.
