Bird flu caught fast in Rajasthan, deaths of so many birds

Jaipur: On the one hand there is an outbreak of corona in every corner of the country, on the other hand, the flu of bird flu is increasing in Rajasthan. According to the animal husbandry department, the virus has spread to 17 districts of the state. Due to which 7294 birds have been known from 25 December 2020 to 30 January 2021. The dead birds include 5,023 crows, 440 peacocks, 692 pigeons and 1,139 other birds.

67 more birds are reported to have died in Rajasthan on Sunday. So far, a total of 7,254 birds have been suspected in the state in the last one month. 17 districts of the state are affected by bird flu infection. According to the animal husbandry department, out of 272 samples from 27 districts, 67 samples showed infection.



According to the department’s report, 27 crows, 9 peacocks, 4 pigeons and 27 other birds died on Sunday. Since the outbreak of bird flu, 7,254 birds have died in the state since 25 December. These include 5003 crows, 436 peacocks, 687 pigeons and 1128 other birds.
