Aizawl Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles organized a pre-recruitment training camp at its headquarters in Aizawl on Friday. This camp was organized for the youth of Mizoram. The training camp, which started from 3 February, concluded on Friday.
A large number of youth from Mizoram participated in the training camp. During the camp, the youth received training in the Indian Army for selection to the posts of Sainik Clerk, Sainik Store Keeper Technical and Nursing Assistant. The recruitment rally will be held in Dimapur, Nagaland from 10-20 March.
The camp provided information about the Indian Army’s selection process and the qualities required from a soldier. On the other hand, the Sership Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles organized a four-day volleyball tournament at Zokhathwathar from 1-4 February. The Sership Battalion gave two volleyball and cash 2000 rupees to the Games and Sports Association of Zokhavathar.
