New Delhi: The farmers’ agitation continues on the 71st day on all the borders of Delhi, demanding the withdrawal of agricultural laws brought by the central government. Meanwhile, farmers’ organizations have announced a chakka jam across the country today. Farmers will jam the entire country from 12 to 3 pm. Meanwhile, Delhi Police has made elaborate security arrangements in Delhi-NCR. More than 50 thousand soldiers have been deployed in various areas of the country’s capital, especially in the border areas.
These soldiers also include paramilitary personnel. A large number of security personnel have been deployed on Delhi’s ITO. In view of the agitation by farmers associations, security arrangements were tightened overnight in Delhi. Delhi Police PRO Chinmay Biswal says that there were several conversations with farmers before the tractor parade on January 26, but still pictures of violence were seen in Delhi. Therefore, this time we will not allow any such mistake to affect the law and order of Delhi.
Delhi Police said around 50,000 security forces have been deployed at points in the country’s capital. It also includes local police forces to monitor their areas. Among them, Delhi Police, Reserve Police Force and paramilitary personnel have been deployed in various sensitive areas including borders.
